Biography:
Michelle Pfeiffer was the second of four children born to Dick and Donna Pfeiffer. She was born in Santa Ana, California, but she grew up in Midway City, California. After graduating from Fountain Valley High School, she attended Golden West College, majoring in court reporting. She left college along with her job as a supermarket checker at a local grocery store to pursue a career in acting.
She first appeared in the movie FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN and then in the disappointing sequel, GREASE 2. Her next role in SCARFACE made a lasting impression, and two years later she was cast in the movie, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK with Jack Nicholson. The movie that really put her on the map was THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS for which she won a Golden Globe for her role as Susie Diamond. Pfeiffer has continued to enjoy a steady career in film and has begun to produce her own projects. She is married to David E. Kelley, creator of ALLY MCBEAL, and they have two children, Claudia Rose and John Henry.
